Our Clothing

Our collections are deliberately large enough, so that everyone can find the object that best suits their interior. The candle palette includes recognized and widely established brands such as Baobab™, but also original creations such as Coreterno™ or Epico. We also discovered some pretty stories, like that of the Ciergerie de l'Abbaye des Prémontrés, which has been making its candles by hand for centuries.

Find below, the brands that trust us!

TRUDON

‘In 1643, a merchant named Claude Trudon arrived in Paris and became the owner of a shop in the rue Saint-Honoré. He was also a grease and wax merchant, supplying his customers with candles for domestic lighting and candles for the parish.

On the threshold of the reign of Louis XIV, Maître Trudon created the first small family factory, which would bear his name and make the fortune of his heirs. His son Jacques, in turn, became a druggist-craftsman and entered the Versailles court under the title of distilling apothecary to Queen Marie-Thérèse, the King's wife.

Trudon waxes are scented, prepared and cast by hand in workshops in Normandy, offering an unrivalled experience.

BAOBAB

BAOBAB was born in 2002 in the enchanting landscapes of Tanzania, a country of intense colours and bewitching fragrances. Through its candle creations, BAOBAB Collection tells new stories: an invitation to a sensory journey, where the aesthetics of the object and divine fragrances blend together.

Each Baobab Collection candle is hand-poured in our workshops, and every element of the production process is carried out by the best European suppliers. Several castings are necessary to guarantee a uniform, high-quality burn. It takes four days to complete the pouring of a Maxi Max candle.

CÔTE NOIRE

The fragrances of Cote Noire candles and home fragrances are inspired by the Charentes region. Each one is inspired by fragrances specific to one or other of the facets of ‘French life’.

The palette is such that everyone will find the essence that suits them best: blond vanilla, Charentes rose, cognac and tobacco, morning tea, lime with mandarin or Champagne Rose.

Cote Noire also offers candles, diffusers, gift boxes and wonderful bouquets of roses for scenting.

The refined look of the spray bottles makes their display unique. Every detail is carefully studied to underline the personality, value and Italian origin of the contents. All the labels are made of distressed leather and handcrafted in harmony with the fragrance.

We'd be delighted to help you discover these scents, which are available in home fragrances, body fragrances and candles.

CORETERNO

Conceived in Rome and born on the streets of cosmopolitan New York, Coreterno is the brand led by visionary creative director Michelangelo Brancato and designer Francilla Ronchi. Coreterno, which translates from Italian to mean ‘eternal heart’, is inspired by a wonderfully mysterious world of rebellious poets and engraving craftsmen who made history long ago. Each creation combines motivational quotes with graphic images that evoke powerful emotions, and projects them onto a candle or perfume.

At Baroque & Rococo you'll find Baroque-style candles with 10 different types of illustration and as many different fragrances. Each box is signed by the waxer who created the candle.

CIERGERIE DES PRÉMONTRÉS

In 1858, the White Fathers settled in the Abbey of Saint Michel de Frigolet, in the heart of the Alpilles mountains in Provence. Forced to leave the Abbey in 1903 because of government reforms, their recipes and manufacturing secrets were entrusted to the Chabrier family from the small village of Graveson.

Since then, the Ciergerie des Prémontrés has established itself in this magical place, where tradition blends with the most modern creations. It is the last traditional candle factory and the only one in Provence to produce its candles using ancestral techniques dating back to the 15th century...

The Ciergerie has the particularity of creating numerous characters in a dazzling range of colours. Baroque & Rococo is delighted to be able to offer you almost the entire range of candles and wax figures.

UN SOIR À L'OPÉRA

UN SOIR À L'OPÉRA celebrates beautiful scents in a collection inspired by the great works of the opera repertoire. Looking to musical scores, choreography and the subtleties of stagecraft for olfactory inspiration, the perfumers create the fragrances for the candles and home perfumes.

Each opera, each ballet has its own universe, its music of course, but also its sets, its colours and therefore its fragrance. In the same way that musical notes make their invisible journey through the air, perfume draws us into its mysterious wake before dissipating into the air.

The fragrances are therefore created according to the work that the brand has chosen to interpret, drawing inspiration from the choreography, the staging or by finding an olfactory element in the original score that serves as a common thread.

Baroque & Rococo is privileged to be the exclusive partner of Un Soir à l'Opéra.
